CIFLE's special party "Performance"

On August 4. at 19 o'clock there were some performences of the trainees, who are taking part in the intensive English course for elementary school teachers, in CIFLE auditorium
This performence was one part of Jonathan's English literature lesson. The trainees are as three group divided and each group selected one story and dramatized it for a play.
From July 21. the trainees began to take the lesson and also began to prepare the play. During 2weeks they cooperated for the preparing of the play, for example story selecting, story rewriting, devision of roles, sound effect, costume, etc. They did this work not only during the lesson, but also during the breaks and lunchtime. So their teamwork was much improved while they prepare the performance.
The tiltle of stories were like these:
Group A : Nolbu Bothers
Group B : Sun and Moon
Group C : Goldax and Silverax

Group A, they changed the old famous "Nolbu Brothers" story for modern situation. In this modernized Nolbu story, Nolbu's wife hit Heungbu's family with a golf club instead of a large flat spoon of old story It was somewhat interesting and impressing.

Group B, they inserted music for each scenes,

which is giving proper impression for the story

and elevating the impression of the story.

And they expressed the tiger somewhat cute,

and this character changing made the play little

more fresh.

In the "Goldax and Silverax" Group C mixed the old story with modernized society and showed the both society contrastively. At the last scene in which the arogant greedy rich family is punished with garbage, the audience felt very relieved.

Through these processes that prepared and exercised the performance together. They learned about the English play deeply and got a useful informations. also these were the chance understanding of the group members and having a good teamwork.
