My CIFLE Life

I wanted to participate in this session for teachers program to intensive course English Teaching. When I arrived at CIFLE, I felt exciting for new environment. I reminded Hawaii University. At the opening ceremony, I were able to understand the president of CIFLE. She spoke about her experience traveling Netherlands. "We have much better facilities of school environment than Netherlands, but Teaching students in English, they are much better than Korean teachers, the teachers in Netherlands are very good at English, so we need to have confidence int English, Make sure an opportunity improving your English and teaching in English." I thought that's right. I would make sure good opportunity for improving myself. At CIFLE, There are many good places for trainees, cafeteria, multimedia room, auditorium, dormitory, laundry room, multi purpose room, fitness room etc. Most of all, I like the fitness room on the first floor in the dormitory named Dream Hall. There are many machines, three treadmills, one bench press, two vibrators, and some weight machines. It is running from 6:30 A.M to 11:30 P.M. I exercised one hour in the morning everyday. While exercising, I could break morning, I had a think about daily routines, and then I could solve many things. It was good for me to keep my health.

CIFLE program of elementary teachers training was great also. There were many lessons, teacher talk, pbl, practicum, micro teaching, storytelling, team teaching, play, group work, writing assay etc. It was very useful for me. It was planned to adopt for my own class. Every teacher of CIFLE tried their lessons meaningful, useful and adoptable. Specially Angie and Chris endeavored to do their’s duties. They guided us to understand or to achieve success in something that is difficult to understand or achieve it. For example, in pbl class of Chris, I was surprised at the product of Eun-ju(trainee in B class)'s group, it was really good. Even though it was hard work and the product was not good, Our group made it also. Through Angie's teaching we could write persuade assay successfully. When we adapt for a play and practise, I felt camaraderie strongly. The food in the cafeteria was very delicious, the ma nu was given variety also. I felt comfortable at CIFLE. I was excited about the useful programs that was taught. If the opportunity like this program would given to me, I will participate in it again. I appreciate for supervisor Ms.Kim who running this program and all teachers. Thank you.
